After last week's Golden Globes , the Critics' Choice Awards allowed the glamor to continue with voluminous silhouettes (which, in particular, proved to be the successful trend of the evening), bold ruffles, strategic cut outs, large trains and lots of , lots of sparkle (look at Julia Roberts in Schiaparelli and Kate Hudson in Oscar de La Renta).

Effortlessly cool Cate Blanchett (absent at the Golden Globes the previous week) showed her interpretation of Sharon Stone's iconic look at the 1998 Oscars with collared shirt and balloon skirt in natural shades, as did Amy Brenneman in Tony Ward Couture.
Kerry Washington enchanted with the Giorgio Armani Privé dress with sweetheart neckline and colorful decorations while, on the other hand, many focused on a classic that always conquers: black with which, the stars know, you can't go wrong .
For the red carpet in Los Angeles, the actress decides to definitely change her style. No more black but a long powder pink dress designed by Gucci. Different look but the final effect is always the same: chic and impeccable
On the men's side, from Andrew Garfield to Jeremy Allen White, a color palette for suits and tuxedos reminded us of how far we are from the times when only bow ties and double-breasted jackets existed for men: from shades of blue to chocolate , without ever going over the top, but only to remember that the wardrobe for him, even if formal, has undergone an upgrade .
